Our Mission

The Bookend was born from a love of stories and a desire to create a space where people can connect over them. We are a small venue that blends the charm of a bookshop with the comfort of a living room.

Here, the pages of a favorite novel meet the clink of cocktail glasses, and conversations flow as easily as ideas.

Whether you’re a lifelong book lover, a creative host, or someone just looking for a cozy space to gather, The Bookend offers a welcoming atmosphere designed to spark inspiration, laughter, and meaningful connections.

OUR OFFERINGS

📚 Book Clubs & Literary Gatherings

Host your next book club in an intimate setting built for good conversation and great company. Bring your own refreshments, settle in, and let the discussion unfold.

$5 per person (minimum 13 guests)
Includes private use of The Bookend for two hours and access to our comfortable seating, glassware, and setup assistance.

🎨 Creative Workshops

Perfect for makers, writers, and artists. We provide the space — you bring the craft. We’ll help promote your event through our social channels and email list to help you reach new audiences.

Base rate: $150 + 20% of ticket sales (ideal for smaller hosts)
Flat rate: $600 for 3 hours (for established hosts who prefer full control)

🥂 Private Parties & Celebrations

From birthdays to showers to intimate dinners, The Bookend offers a beautiful backdrop for life’s special moments. Choose from weekday or weekend rental packages to fit your plans.

Includes 4-hour private room rental, use of tables and seating, and event setup assistance.

Weekday Rate (Tuesday–Thursday): $600
Weekend Rate (Friday–Sunday): $900

💼 Corporate & Team Events

Gather your team for a day of creativity and collaboration. Our flexible setup works beautifully for meetings, retreats, and brainstorming sessions — complete with a little literary charm.

Half Day (4 hours): $600
Full Day (8 hours): $1,000
